Meet Max Bleefeld
Background
Max Bleefeld has been drumming almost as long as he’s been walking. Thankfully, his sense of rhythm came a lot quicker than his balance. A graduate of USC’s Thornton School of Music, Max has spent over a decade behind the kit, performing everything from Beatles classics to festival sets, on the streets of London, and yacht rock jams. Whether it’s in a packed club, a recording studio, or a rehearsal space that neighbors definitely don’t appreciate, Max brings energy, precision, and a knack for making every groove feel like the heartbeat of the room.
When he’s not chasing the perfect fill or obsessing over the genius of Hal Blaine, Max can be found experimenting with new sounds, teaching his Apple Music’s algorithms questionable taste, or debating whether Ringo Starr is actually underrated (spoiler: he is). Equal parts groove machine and musical storyteller, Max doesn’t just keep the beat - he makes it impossible not to move with it.
